Seasonal workers are mostly resident in Avignon for practical reasons such as accommodation, training and hiring procedures.
RECRUITMENT CONDITIONS FOR SEASONAL WORKERS
FOR POSTS WITHOUT SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
Application forms can be obtained from the Festival office in Avignon, from the first working day of April (one application form per person). The forms have to be returned on April 15th at the latest.
Reception work or jobs at the venues
- You must be eighteen (by June 15th of the current year) or over.
Ticket sales (June/July)
- Minimum age 23,
- Basic computer skills.
FOR POSTS REQUIRING SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS (related to live performance - few posts available)
- Send your detailed CV with a letter of intent to:

Technical posts (sound, lighting, stage, scenery)
- To the Festival Technical Department.
Secretariat, communication, production and administration
- To the Festival Administration Department.
INTERNSHIPS must be agreed between the training institution/organisation and the Festival. You must be available in July. The Festival gives priority to professional placements rather than to observation internships and the number of places are limited.
Send your CV and letter of intent to the Festival Administration Department in Avignon. The sectors where internships are possible are the following: administration, production, technical, press relations and multimedia.
