Based in Avignon, Cloître Saint-Louis, 20 rue du portail Boquier, 84000 Avignon, the team is composed of 25 permanent staff members, this number gradually reaching about 750 employees in July, including more than 350 technicians who work under a special social security system for employees in the performing arts, to which may be added over 1,000 people employed by the guest companies.
The Festival d'Avignon is headed by the directors Hortense Archambault and Vincent Baudriller. The office includes a production department (Caroline Barneaud), administrative department (Arnaud Champenois), technical department (Christian Wilmart), communication & PR department (Laurence Perez). The press department is based in Paris (Rémi Fort).
