The exhibition La Lumière (The Light) showcases the work of photographer Fabrice Sabre, who chronicled the organisation of the Festival d'Avignon in June and July 2014. Thanks to the support and the complicity of the teams of the Festival d'Avignon and the ISTS, Fabrice Sabre was given access to a rarely seen side of the Festival and was able to document the work of the technicians who support the artists. Rare are the jobs that are so little known by the public at large, both in their uniqueness and in their savoir-faire. 10,000 photographs shine a light on the specificity of the Festival d'Avignon, the metamorphosis of those prestigious and historic landmarks into theatre venues.
