Uganda, 1989: Joseph Kony creates a new rebel movement, the Lord's Resistance Army. An army which grows by kidnapping children and teenagers, few of whom ever escaped the bush alive. Geoffrey, Nighty, and Mike, as well as Lapisa, are among them. Today they try to build a normal life for themselves and come back to the places where their childhood was stolen from them. At once victims and perpetrators, witnesses and actors in acts of violence that are bigger than them, they remain always the “wrong elements.”
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Philippe Brizemur, head of the children's rights committee of Amnesty International France.
