Presentation

In French, the word “accent” has three different acceptations. David Somló and Claudia Triozzi therefore see six of them—at least. For instance:

1. Accents have a particular place / Accents can be placed wherever you like.
2. Excuse-me, I don't understand your accent / Oh, your accent is sexy.
3. My body expresses its accents / I tried to put the accent there, but I can't quite get it right.

David Somló
Trained in interdisciplinary composition in London and in sociology in Budapest, David Somló is a Hungarian artist. His creations bring together sounds, performance, and improvisation to encourage immersion and a blurring of the line between action and perception. Focusing on the interactions between beings and their physical, social, and intimate spaces, he creates his shows around the very diverse locations in which they are staged.

Claudia Triozzi
Trained in classical and contemporary dance in Italy, Claudia Triozzi began her research in parallel to her career as a performer in Paris in 1985. Her creations, living pictures presented onstage or filmed and screened in galleries or museums, call on the principles of sharing, transmission, and engagement, to constantly turn time into a work of art.
