  • Located on the other side of the Rhône, the Chartreuse de Villeneuve lez Avignon is a 14th-century listed monument, a former convent of the Chartreux religious order. It is now a museum but also a place for artistic research, as it is home to the Centre National des Ecritures du Spectacle (CNES). This organization has three areas that it makes available to the Festival during the summer: the Tinel (250-seat theatre), the Studio and the Église.
