Rosalba Torres Guerrero

Rosalba Torres Guerrero, born in Geneva, began her career as a dancer with Philippe Decouflé. She joined in 1997 Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's Rosas company then, in 2005, the ballets C de la B. They will be familiar to the audience of the Festival d'Avignon, who saw Rosalba Torres Guerrero in VSPRS and Out of Context for Pina in 2006, 2010, and 2013, and Koen Augustijnen in Alain Platel's Bonjour madame, comment allez-vous aujourd'hui, il fait beau, il va sans doute pleuvoir etcetera in 1996. Their shared interest for cultural hybridisation led them to work together as part of the Siamese company. In 2013, they created Badke in Ramallah, which led seven years later to Lamenta.
