Presentation

In a deserted camp, after the war, a young girl tells the story of her flight, of a collective rape, of the child growing inside her, of her hate, of war, and of her burgeoning love for Boy Killer. All with a child's falsely naive words, full of modest emotions.

Winner of the Prix RFI Théâtre 2017. The Prix RFI Théâtre is organised in partnership with the Institutfrançais, the SACD, the Francophonies enLimousin, the théâtre de l'Aquarium, and the CDN de Normandie-Rouen. The Bearded Doll is published by Lansman edition.
