Presentation

  • It could be a forest, or a desert, or a swamp. A place where all equipment has gone up in smoke. During and after the cataclysm, life endures, thanks in part to the decomposition of the roots.

Marie Payen is an actress for theatre and cinema. For the past few years, she has also written shows (jEbrûLE, Perdre le Nord) whose text is entirely rewritten live every night.

When looking at Mehdi-Georges Lahlou's work up till now, one can soon identify two main constants: one has to do with his relationship to the body, the other with his relationship to the space. Most often, they are intertwined. The former of course has something to do with his initial training as a dancer, the latter with his work as a sculptor.
