Presentation

  • It's a refrain we hear all the time: “it used to be better.” Before the digital revolution, before genetic manipulation, before education became a mass product, before migratory waves. Philosopher Michel Serres was there “before.” And what he remembers was never-ending wars and a shorter life expectancy. Can we really have faith in the future, and why are nostalgic and reactionary ideas so present ?
